Association of Conscious Consumers
The Association of Conscious Consumers, ACC (registered Tudatos Vásárlók Egyesülete) is a non-profit public-interest NGO with the aim of creating awareness and driving action related to the effects of consumption patterns of individuals and the public on the economy, the environment and the future of the planet as a whole. The association aims to contribute to positive changes in consumer values and the operation of businesses, supporting the improvement of our natural and social environment.
ACC’s work involves: Policy on SCP; Education, Public information and awareness-raising; Capacity building and building bridges (intra- and inter-sectoral networks); Publication; etc, all relevant to conscious consumption and ecological sustainability.
ACC is the coordinating secretariat of the CEE network.

KOSA
KOSA is an association of Czech non-governmental organisations concerned with the protection of rights and interests of consumers. The participating organisations consider protection of rights and interests of consumers to be a spontaneous civic activity aiming at equalizing the naturally unbalanced information and material position of a vast majority of Czech consumers.
Typical areas of consumer relations can be considered to consist especially in the purchase of foodstuffs and products, entering into and implementing agreements on provision of services, including services connected with housing, transport, telecommunications, keeping accounts, providing purchase credit or leasing, and insurance. Consumers also include persons authorized to utilize services provided by certain public corporations, including the system of public education, highway and railway network, or public radio or television broadcasting.
