Since June 20011, the name “Czech Coalition of Consumer Activities (KOSA)𔄣 has referred to associa-tion of non-governmental organisations (NGO) concerned with the protection of rights and interests of consumers.
The KOSA member organisations consider protection of rights and interests of consumers in wide range enforcing consumer position especially in the purchase of foodstuffs and products, entering into and implementing agreements on provision of services, including services connected with housing, transport, telecommunications, keeping accounts, providing purchase credit or leasing, and insurance. Consumers also include persons authorized to utilize services provided by certain public corporations, including the system of public education, transport network, or public radio or television broadcasting.
